GREEN HOUSE FARMING

If you are interested in growing plants which cannot survive in a particular area, then you may try Green house farming. Green house is a type of farming in which a structure made of glass or a transparent material is built to protect the plants from extreme or adverse environmental condition. Here, high quality crops can be grown in such a way to meet the market demands and also different varieties can be produced . In order to grow the plants, plenty of light is usually required. Drip irrigation is commonly made use. Reliability of the crop is maintained by this method. There are variety of green houses based on covering material, shape, structure and environmental conditions. Thermal screens must be used for controlling the shade. Hi Friends, let me share a few words about Organic farming. Obviously, we would have come across this word. Yeah! it is of course a traditional method of growing crops or plants without much usage of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The credit goes to our ancestors for starting up this kind of  farming. Only green manures and composts are used here to produce food crops which are healthier & natural. It is a very holistic method which improves fertility and sustainability of the soil. Besides satisfying the human needs, it helps to ensure ecological balance to maintain biodiversity. Organic crops are rich in nutrients and there are many health benefits too. I guess most of us have our own gardens, lawns and back yards. So, let us take an initiative to adopt this very useful traditional farming method. I suggest everybody to try our level best to support small organic farms.
