To begin revolution in agriculture Indian government is taking so many steps. Now the government launched a new program called AGRI-UDAAN . AGRI-UDDAN give guidance and training to Indian youth in agriculture practices. This AGRI-UDAAN program help the start-ups to get incubation space to run their business and they can easily access research labs and information centers. Coconut farming

Coconut is found to be one of the main agricultural commodity. Coconut farming has seen a huge history in our country. Coconut is usually a profitable farming. All we need to do is to get  a fresh coconut falling from a tree and soaking it in water for some days (mostly 2-3) and then transferring it to the soil. For proper growth and higher yield of coconuts, there must be spacing between the plants. Pre-monsoon season is ideal for planting these seedlings. These plants must be well irrigated. Inter cropping can also be done in coconut farms. There are many health benefits of coconut. It helps in rehydration and to increase our body's metabolism. Hi Friends, let me share a few words about Organic farming. Obviously, we would have come across this word. Yeah! it is of course a traditional method of growing crops or plants without much usage of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The credit goes to our ancestors for starting up this kind of  farming. Only green manures and composts are used here to produce food crops which are healthier & natural. It is a very holistic method which improves fertility and sustainability of the soil. Besides satisfying the human needs, it helps to ensure ecological balance to maintain biodiversity. Organic crops are rich in nutrients and there are many health benefits too. I guess most of us have our own gardens, lawns and back yards. So, let us take an initiative to adopt this very useful traditional farming method. I suggest everybody to try our level best to support small organic farms.

Destruction of agricultural lands - A Curse for the Nation

On the path of development, our Mother Earth has seen a huge history. We have come across many hurdles to achieve this. Today we have advancements in science & technology which have transformed agriculture and the farmer today. Though he is illiterate, he is able to make use of such things. Nowadays, the physical efforts of humans are not encouraged. More or less, we are dependent on the machines. Rural areas are getting transformed into urban cities. Agricultural lands are being destroyed to construct houses  & buildings just to satisfy human needs. We must try to put an end to this kind of practice. The Government needs to do a reality check of this situation. It is this situation that has to be changed and I think this change can surely bring a real development for the nation as a whole. So friends, let us not spoil the native purity of agricultural lands.
