Integrated Farming

In India the farmer’s main income is through crop yield, but this income is not a regular constant income. So many factors affect the income to the farmer. So, the farmers should select the alternate source to generate income. Integrated farming system gives the farmer regular income.
By integrating various agricultural farming methods like cropping, animal husbandry, fishery, forestry, poultry etc. the farmer can get high income on regular intervals. This type of integrated farming not only gives money also makes the land fertile. In integrated farming the farm waste becomes main source of fertilizer for the land. Agriculture is performed with integrated farming environment the resources are fully used.
An integrated farming system varies from region to region, based on soil, based on climatic conditions etc., integrated farming is having more advantage than traditional farming systems. Integrated Farming gives higher food production, increased income, soil fertility through organic waste. Production cost is reduced, regular income and employment.

Organic Farming

Hi Friends, let me share a few words about Organic farming. Obviously, we would have come across this word. Yeah! it is of course a traditional method of growing crops or plants without much usage of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The credit goes to our ancestors for starting up this kind of  farming. Only green manures and composts are used here to produce food crops which are healthier & natural. It is a very holistic method which improves fertility and sustainability of the soil. Besides satisfying the human needs, it helps to ensure ecological balance to maintain biodiversity. Organic crops are rich in nutrients and there are many health benefits too. I guess most of us have our own gardens, lawns and back yards. So, let us take an initiative to adopt this very useful traditional farming method. I suggest everybody to try our level best to support small organic farms.
