Poultry farming is profitable business with minimum investment. Poultry farming is traditional and farmers can easily start this along with their routine agricultural activities. Poultry farm we get earnings from eggs, meat and manure.
The need for eggs and meat are increasing day-by-day. Manure is used as natural fertilizer for agricultural lands. In poultry farming we can get earnings throughout the year.

Classification of Poultry:


Chicken, duck, goose, quail, pigeon etc are different classification of poultry. Poultry has high protein content. Its meat and eggs are used as food. The waste materials from poultry are used as manure. Feathers are also used.

Yeah! it is of course a traditional method of growing crops or plants without much usage of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. The credit goes to our ancestors for starting up this kind of  farming. Only green manures and composts are used here to produce food crops which are healthier & natural. It is a very holistic method which improves fertility and sustainability of the soil. Besides satisfying the human needs, it helps to ensure ecological balance to maintain biodiversity. Organic crops are rich in nutrients and there are many health benefits too. I guess most of us have our own gardens, lawns and back yards. So, let us take an initiative to adopt this very useful traditional farming method. I suggest everybody to try our level best to support small organic farms.
